INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY CERTIFICATIONS CONSORTIUM, INC or (ISC)2 is a global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to:

1. Maintaining a Common Body of Knowledge for Information Security [IS].

2. Certifying industry professionals and practitioners in an international IS standard

3. Administering training and certification examinations

4. Ensuring credentials are maintained, primarily through continuing education

(ISC)2 is based in Framingham, MA, U.S.A. The organization is run by an elected Board of Directors.

CISSP examinations are now conducted in India through Savant India Institute of Technology Pvt Ltd, Chennai
